Louise is a well established performer and composer who has spent her life learning, practicing, listening, writing and performing. She has written emotive and enthralling string arrangements, scores for film and documentary, as well as cut-through short pieces for advertising, corporate identity and marketing productions.
Louise frequently works with producer Sean Deans (AUS/NZ) and was orchestrator and copyist for the sold out Arts Centre Melbourne performance of The Draw: A Symphony - composed by Tamil Rogeon, and recently produced and wrote string quartet arrangements for Zola Jesus' (US) debut Melbourne Music Week performance at Melbourne Recital Centre.
She loves music in all its forms - but has a particular fondness for performing alt-country and contemporary music in it's many forms. Playing the viola, violin (+ fiddle) and keyboards, Louise has worked locally and internationally with some of the leading lights of the musical world such as Nitin Sawhney (UK), Adalita (AUS), Sophie Koh (AUS) and Zola Jesus (US).
